Visit

The building is routinely open the second Sunday afternoon of each month throughout the year. During the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, open days are increased. Trained guides offer tours, answer questions, and manage the sales desk.

The Friends also provide dedicated tours. Tours depend on availability of both building and guides. The guides are all volunteers and are not based at the Centre, therefore at least a week’s notice is required to set up visits. The charge is £5 per head, to be paid on the day. There is no charge for school groups or for undergraduates from the Edinburgh Universities, although a donation is appreciated.
