    Open Days

The building is usually open on the second Sunday of each month, with a 3 week period of extended opening during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. On our open days, visitors are welcome to take a guided tour or explore at their leisure.

    Admittance is free.

    Festival Fringe 2019

In addition to our normal Fringe opening events, everyday from 12th - 16th August at 1:00pm The Poet, the Songstress and the King's Composer will be performed by the Shoestring Players, Isle of Wight in The Mansfield Traquair Centre. The show runs for about 60 minutes.

    Tours and Talks

Tours and talks for private parties outside our scheduled open days can also be arranged. Please contact us to discuss further if this is of interest. There is a small charge levied for visits outside our open days, and all money is used to fund the ongoing maintenance of the building and murals.
